[5e] New character setup hangs

Newish here, FWIW. I've been through the Charactermancer process a few dozen times now, just learning the best ways through. It seems like there are tricks to getting it right? Lately, it seems like no matter what I choose before I click the final page at "REVIEW" -> "APPLY CHANGES", it goes through a hangup similar to what I find described here: https://app.roll20.net/forum/post/6525218/charactermancer-5e-ogl-1-dot-0-bug-report-thread/?pagenum=8 In my case, it steps through "Building your character...", and hangs near the end of the red line. I've paged through the issues mentioned in the link, and mine seems different from those described there, which is why I'm starting a new page. Apologies if that was the wrong thing to do. I don't have much else to describe in my case though; I've tried guessing a few things (different choices along the steps, not exhaustive) and I haven't been able to narrow down a cause. It does seem that I get a successful "Building" case some of the time, but what my "good guess" was, I haven't been able to narrow down. As I write this, I haven't been able to get any run to successfully finish no matter what I try, but where it hangs does seem to vary. I can say that it's always leaving off the "personality triats, ideals, bonds, flaws" line, while some runs have either filled in or left off other parts. I realize that I yammer. Eager to go at this some better way. Hint me up? Thanks.

Just to get the question out of the way... Do you have the character sheet popped out in a separate window or tab? That does mess up the charactermancer, so be sure to leave the sheet within the game. If you didn't have it in a separate tab, then someone will probably want you to run through the solving technical problems list which can be found here: https://wiki.roll20.net/Solving_Technical_Issues
Short answer: nope, I don't have a second window. I'll follow the link you suggest, but in the meantime, a little new info here: Poking around, I see a few things: If I pull up the character sheet and click either of the "Launch Level 1" or "Launch Level +" buttons, I find that some of the info that doesn't get brought up in the graphic "CORE" section has nonetheless been archived. For example the ones I refer to above, "Personality," "Ideals", etc., does come up. But it seems that some doesn't: if I click through to the finish step of one of those "Launch" phases, the alignment I chose previously doesn't come up. At least, some of the time. I'm out of time currently, will to to the Solving link as soon as I can. Thanks.

Oops: I misspoke. I'd been so focused on the settings under the main "Setups" init stage, I didn't verify that popups windows were switched off under the "My Settings" list that runs during the game. Sure enough, when I unclick "Use window popouts for characters" in the "My Settings" page, this problem does go away. Sorry for the booboo, thanks Kraynic.
Since this issue has been resolved I will close this thread.
