[Weekly Downtime Thread][Summer I 1524 HC]

Please post any of your downtime activities below. You can find the full rules for downtime here . You can find last week's downtime thread here.
Prudence will spend her time watching over Agatha in light of recent events, worried even more changes might take place within her. Other than that she will focus on nature's spirits and the fey (leveling up) She will also look to get the 65 lbs of wyvern scales made into armour (breastplate barding for 400gp) Zentha  Studies her tomes and scrolls to level to 3, (Divination Arcane Tradition) Would also see about finding other arcane users within the cohort to learn spells from.
Agatha spends her downtime trying to figure out what actually happened to her and what these new powers she feels really are. (Aka taking 1 level in Warlock if leveling up.)
Darvius will spend his time leveling up to level 4!
Hunter....will have to wait for tonight. Further update will explain. See logs Drake Darkwood will spend his time studying in the library studying the history of Cerilia.  Edit: Hunter may be spending the week leveling. If not, he'd be hunting for money.
Tarkus will continue to learn Andu in his free time and will continue to write and perform.
Orithar Trisk  (martial weapon trainning) :  He will continue to help the Cohort identify different items they have received during the week. He will be looking for someone to train him in the way of using greataxe. Approaching the solider captains or experts.  Siegfried Morton (trying to increase Renown with the Cohort) :  During the day he is going to enlist his services for local churches and help heal injured cohort members. He will see what work the Cohort has for an old man such as him. Dragomir "Drago" Black: (leveling up)  Will be a little bit obsessed with the raw magic he saw in the shadow realm asking members if anyone knows a way into the shadow realm or how to do it. After seeing the effects of adding magic into raw magic both with illusions and sound blast he wants to know more. He loves the unpredictable nature of it.  However, the main thing for Drago will be looking in places he really shouldn't be. During the night Invisible spider Imp will be looking in the forbidden/restrictive section of the Cohort. As Drago can read whatever the spider sees. Looking for something that stands out as wild or cool. Pretty sure the imp and just pop back to him. He is also still looking for that black book he retrieved with the nightmare stories but this time with a little help. Otherwise, let's see what the forbidden sections of the cohort including quarters and the library can offer. A child's curiosity. He Will also be buying some extra herbs and materials to resummon his raven. 30 Gold worth. x3.
Teresa Eirwen: Teresa will be doubling down on her research, this time into the area around Lake Khurinlach. Making sure she knows where exactly it is, what's around it, what sort of creatures live around that area, nearest settlement to it. She'd also try to track down Diesa to see if she can help with her research.
Korak: Assuming he has enough for level 4 (I would hope so with last session), he would test his resolve and spend his downtime fasting and praying at the temple of Moradin (Taking Resilient Con for 4th level feat). He would aslo continue training hand in combat asking Hunter, Drago, and Diesa if they would like to spar with him.  Hedrin: Sad that he did not find anything to help Exoban heal him he would just spend his week in the library reading logs and researching books of creatures to see if he finds anything interesting.  Lolgon: Being fresh blood and excited to be a part of the Cohort he would wonder around to see if anyone he has met on his past ventures is still around.
Rob: Will spend most of his time delving deeper into the mysteries of divination and level up, provided Nesirie Grants him her blessing. ( Obeservant as chosen feat. ) After considering the title of Housecarl for a bit, he would accept the title, as he thinks that it won't be interfering with his duties as Lord of House Duskhart. Takumir : As he had a lot of free time this month, he was busy conducting mercenary business. Helping guard a caravan, guard duty and what so not. Shango: Will continue his meditation an practice of martial arts, to level up to second level.
Diesa Gemfire At the conclusion of defeating the Goblins in the Old Temple of Moradin, Diesa spends two nights carousing in Trie with any expedition members, volunteers or new friends. Afterwards she stops off in Daugren to give a portion of her reward money to her mother in Daugren before returning to the Cohort, leaving the following note Ma, I've left a money order of a hundred krakens to your name with the merchants association. Didn't want to tell you while I was visiting since I knew you'd make a fuss or something. It's ONLY in your name too, you've always had the best head for finances and that so figure you'll know how best to spend it. Imagine Da would use half of it up on his battlehammer figurine collection. Don't have to be all wise though, make sure to spoil yourself some, or a lot, and Da and Harri and Dagni too. Hopefully I'll be back again in a couple of months. Love, Rhoni Location: Diesa spends her time at the Halls of Cohort Arcanum off the coast of Muden. Training: After leaving Grevesmuhl and returning to the Cohort Diesa throws herself into training, both martial and arcane. Spending time excercising and practicing in the yards. Other times studying arcana that Presphine recommends and excercising her magic prowess, trying to expand her capabilities in drawing from the Mebhaighl - during which she attracts a minor fey spirit. (Level 4 Fighter - Eldritch Knight - spending the ASI on a feat: Magic Initiate (Wizard) and learning Find Familiar ) Other: If Teresa is also dwelling at the Cohort's halls it shouldn't be hard for her to find Diesa there. Diesa will help, especially if she is informed about the sister, but ask that they keep their research more secret - she doesn't want to get dissected or whatever if the cohort learn what happened with the book and the Deep Speech. Lambert Sulverin Location: Lambert spends his time at the Halls of Cohort Arcanum off the coast of Muden. Research: Lambert recounts his 'audience' with the Beholder to more experienced and authoritive members of the cohort and asks to read old adventuring reports as well as searching through books of history and legend - trying to learn the origin of the creature as well as learn exactly what happened when it was believed to have been destroyed the last time. And if he cant learn these things, maybe a name or a location where he could.
Zolis: will collect his share of the bounty from the Goblin mission  and reflect on his new path. He will practice his fighting techniques in attempt to reach the skill level of his new peers and  level up if possible. He keeps his ears and eyes open when passing through the chicken gate, interested in finding a plot of land suitable for cultivation and erecting a simple holdfast somewhere nearby the city.
This week's downtime thread is officially closed. Be the lookout for the results shortly.
Prudence Prudence spends time communicating with nature, and improving her abilities. During her rest she tracks down Tuzul Caveblade in The Cohort Arcanum to get a suit of armour commissioned. The dwerren man takes her measurements, and tells her that he will have her armour done by the 17th of Anarire. Zentha Zentha finishes her learning. OOC: Players are free to swap spells during downtime if they are both wizards. Note that they still have to pay for the cost of transcribing the spell into their spellbooks. Otherwise it would be research during downtime to try to find any spell(s). Outside of that a player could organize a custom mission to track down spells as well. Agatha Agatha feels her body fill with new magical abilities granted to her by Explicita Defilus. Darvius Darvius spends time training, and feels that his abilities have improved! Hunter Spends time training, and improving his skills. Drake Darkwood Drake spends some time reading on the recent history of Cerilia during his downtime. He reads about how in recent years Queen Ljorrah of Stjordvik died, and her son succeeded her. He also reads about The Manticore's recent rise to power. As well as The Sphinx's recent attempts into the Tarvan Wastes, and a secret meeting with King Berving of Halskapa and The Siren. Tarkus Tarkus spends more time brushing up on his Andu. OOC: I've decided to lower the time to start getting rolls to just a single mini-turn (the wiki has been updated). If this ends up being too easy we may have to lengthen the time back out. Unfortunately Tarkus did not succeed on his checks to learn Andu (next time will be DC10 at advantage). Orithar Trisk Orithar spends time training with weapons, and trying to identify items. OOC: I gave weapon training the same treatment as languages, but note you have to learn a specific weapon. Orithar's check was a success so you can learn whichever one weapon you wish to. You also didn't tell me what you are trying to identify. As a side note you can only try to identify each item once, and cannot do so again until your proficiency bonus increases. Finally, I'm going to be changing the identify spell to need a 50gp pearl that is consumed when the spell is cast (starting after this week's downtime). Siegfried Siegfried helps around The Cohort, but this is simply what is expected of its members. OOC: If you wish to increase your renown with The Cohort you'll need to take on missions that benefit The Cohort, or do some other notable action that would prove beneficial to it. Dragomir Dragomir spends time learning. His familiar doesn't manage to raid the archives of The Cohort (they're too heavily protected), but does manage to find the black book chained up in Presphine's shop. Dragomir's familiar walks away from the black book after discovering its location only to see The Kallanon hovering over its head. The boy is retrieved, and taken to the donjon of The Cohort Arcanum to await for a full trial for his actions. Teresa Teresa learns that the Khurinlach is located to the southeast of Baruk-Azhik. There are multiple entrances to the Dwerren cities nearby in both Land's Victory, and the Promontory. The local dwerren normally have issues with orogs, and minions of both The Hydra, and The Chimera. Korak Korak spends time resting, meditating, and training. Hedrin Hedrin reads stories of The Golden Unicorn. Supposedly this wondrous ehrshegh was an ally and retainer of Haelyn at the battle for Mount Diesmaar. It is said simply getting a glance of this mystical beast is enough to cure any wound, or injury. According to the stories it was last spotted in the wilderness, and wild magics of the Tuarannwn. Where the magic is too wild even for the sidhelien to live there. Lolgon Lolgon spends some time mingling with the rest of The Cohort. Rob Robert spends time delving into the mysteries of the world and Nesirie grants him her blessing. Takumir Takumir spends his time guarding caravans during his downtime. Shango Shango meditates, and practices martial arts to improve his skills. Diesa Gemfire Diesa leaves the letter with her family, and train to successfully improve her skills. Lambert Sulverin Lambert digs into The Beholder. He discovers that the old tales of how the creature was destroyed seem to vary from city to city. However they all oddly have a similar structure to their nature. It almost seems as if the same author wrote a thousand different stories about the same event. Zolis Zolis practices his fighting skills, and improves his abilities to the next level.
