Looks like we're full on guests for the upcoming session . I'll post before our next session for any open guest slots. Thanks for looking. https://app.roll20.net/campaigns/details/5465660/act-i-credits-where-credits-due We use Roll20 for music, sound effects, handouts, maps, and chat. We use Discord for voice. (And please have headphones or earbuds. Feedback: I hate that farkling shavit .). Rotating into a new campaign on the 14th. This will be Star Wars using WEG's d6, the v2 REUP version. Given how vaunted this game system is, I've always wanted to try it out and am very much looking forward to it. Perhaps you're the same. But even though I'll have read through the rules, it will be a new system for me and my players, and I will need some patience from both players and guest players as we learn the nuance of the system together. I have room for one or two guest players to join us next Saturday, on December 14th. This will be a great opportunity for someone who is interested in joining us for a game day to check out this version of Star Wars RPG, and/or someone who just wants a day of play without any commitments. Guest players will be allowed to choose from a number of NPC characters** that have been created specifically for guests to play. We play bi-weekly, so there will be other opportunities to join later if you want to join us but can't make that specific date. Given that the holiday season is here, the session after might be in the new year. I'll have to consult with the players after the 14th once we all know what our schedules are. But bi-weekly is our usual schedule. And we sometimes do PBT between sessions, which guests are welcome to participate in as well should they choose. I like to keep this hassle-free for guests as possible so that they can just jump in and start having fun. It's basically roleplay and click a button from your character sheet when needed. I do need prospectives to be added a few days before the actual game day, since after that, my focus is on game prep for the upcoming session, and I will have no time for guests. That means, NLT December 11th . Again, we play bi-weekly, so there will be other opportunities. Setting is the Old Republic Era appx 3600 BBY, sometime shortly after the Great Galactic War (between the Sith Empire and Galactic Republic). Act 1 will open in Hutt Space on Nal Hutta . This is a non-force user campaign . Jedi and Sith would only be encountered as NPCs and/or antagonists. Characters will be any mix you would expect in such a Hive of [insert your fav phrase here]: mercenaries, bounty hunters, enforcers, thugs, pirates, smugglers, slaves, entertainers, stranded travelers. Most characters will be starting from a point of desperation, which will drive them to seek unlikely allies in the hope that they all make the big score and, hopefully, get off planet (at some point). I like to emphasize story and encourage roleplay and exploration of character, over brute force. For me, it's about character and having fun. And if that's you and you have some time and are interested, please consider joining us for a game day. We'd love to meet you. Just send me a message, leave me a message here, or think really really hard in hopes that my telepathic powers have finally awakened. (Wouldn't that be something! But I suggest one of the first two--really). Any questions, please feel free to ask. I suggest here in case someone else has the same question. ** And since we're at the beginning of the campaign, if you have a suggestion for a likely fun NPC, please feel free to suggest one here--even if you're not joining us. For time expediency, NPCs will all be created from templates. Here are a number of templates, including many not found in the core rulebook. My players are creating some, but I'll have to create the rest; so it's pretty much equal to me what's available in the pool. http://d6holocron.com/wiki/index.php?title=Templates
