Multiple states/images for tokens

It would be very handy to be able to have multiple states loaded for tokens, similar to Tabletop Simulator's 2D token feature, with how you can change states using the number keys. I would love to use a feature like this for further showing the emotion of my character, and/or how injured that character might be. I don't care about automating it, though that would be nice if it could change based on the health of the character on the sheet; I would just like to be able to have multiple states I can manually change through without having to make new tokens entirely. I apologize if this is already implemented and I've just missed it, I've tried looking a few times just to be sure.

Not sure if this is similar to what you are thinking (I don't know tabletop simulator) but we do have Rollable table tokens . Would this function similar?

The challenge is that players cannot create token table or upload images into them. The GM has to set this up for each player. This animation shows how it works; click on the image to play the animation.

That's exactly what I had in mind, thank you for pointing this out for me! I guess the reason I was unable to find it before is that it feels so tucked away, as opposed to being inherently part of the token and/or sheet options (which makes this feel more like a roundabout solution even if it does exactly what I want it to do). My suggestion still stands, though I would change it to be suggesting that it is made a part of the token's inherent options rather than being hidden in the macros and rollable tables tab. I don't necessarily mind that it has to be setup by the DM as Mike said, as I was more asking from a DM's perspective with this suggestion. It would still be nice to have though, given how it is tedious for the DM to have to set up tokens for all the players every time.

Well the Rollable table tokens came about organically a few years ago when someone discovered they could put images in the rollable table and manually change the token with the images. It has been refined since then but it is still a "cool, I can do this" type of addon to the Rollable table. There are some api scripts (pro feature) I think that can help automate it some.

Makes sense. I'll consider getting pro in the meantime, then.
