Hello guys! I've been itching to really get into Pathfinder 2nd edition, but haven't had the chance so far, only playing the Playtest version. However, I'm seeking to rectify this and at the same time possibly try a new approach to GM'ing (and perhaps even playing) that I have not tried before. I think technically the idea I have would fall under West Marches, but I am too unfamiliar with the concept to say for sure myself. The idea is to create a game consisting of a multitude of players (and possibly GMs, who may even have characters of their own), which may then mix and match for different adventures creating a large overarching story. The idea is to have flexibility, with play times being fluid, depending on which players and/or GMs are available. The adventures will be short missions (or "quests" rather ;D) of one or two sessions preferably. So, for the setting, the characters will start out as Rookies of the Gilgamesh Academy of Heroes , a grandiose, multi-national academy training adventurers to take on dangerous tasks in the hopes of becoming true heroes. The characters will live within the Academy, based near the bustling border town of Cedar Woods , sitting between the nations of Greos and Issia , two major powers in the region, which enjoys temperate to cold climates towards the northern parts of Greos. Anything else, the other GMs and I will shape together! Common rules for the game: No alignments. Only Core Races. All characters start at 1st level. Standard character creation. Quests will give off a set amount of XP set by the GM (not known information), based on obstacles included (enemies, traps, social encounters etc.), no matter how the quest is resolved (as long as it is). Similar to milestone XP. A little bit of info on me: I am a 28 y/o male from Denmark (CET) and a GM of various games for the past 14 years, though this will be my first foray into this sort of play-style. I see myself as a generally chill dude, who likes helping out newcomers as best I can, as well as provide an environment where we can be open and safe. For this reason, I also ask that you, whether you sign up as a player or GM, is respectable and kind to others. This is a game supposed to be about adventurous fun, and I will not tolerate bad behavior towards other players. I seek for this to be a platform to build friendships as well as play, so please respect that. So there you have it! If you'd like to join up, whether as a player, GM, or both (Will look into the possibility of that), send me a message and I'll hook you up to the discord I will be making for the game. Hope to see you there! Ta-ta! Also, if there's anything I seem to have missed or you just have questions, shoot!
