Mass effect character sheet problem

I here, i'm starting a new game in the mass effect universe and i try to use the template "Mass effect" under "Dungeons and Dragons 5th edition" in the list (Created by John G., Modeled using 5th Edition OGL by Roll20. Compatible for use with Mass Effect 5E.) Its listed in the suggeste template at the creation of a game, so technically, i can use it even if i'm not a pro user.  Then, when i create an npc-test to try some action and attack, nothing would show on the chat. Then, the cantrip description show, but not the option to roll for the attack. For any kind of attack (melee or range), nothing show up in the chat, not even the description or the name. I check the roll Querie and the auto attack, but there nothing abnormal there. There's no problems in my other game, play on the classic 5th edition. So i'm kind of lost ^^"

Tried out the sheet and it seems the sheet doesn't work properly for PC attribute/skill rolls either, as it doesn't seem to update your mods for them. The sheet is based on the DnD5E base sheet, and a quick look on the code at least tells me the author did the work to add the Mass Effect-specific skills in the sheetworkers as well, but considering the sheet is massive, I can't really say what's wrong with it. Based on what I experienced and what you said, it seems the sheet have several bugs that makes it basically unusable. I have a vague memory of someone bringing this up previously, but could be that I'm mixing it up with the reports on the Elder Scrolls 5E sheet. The author haven't touched the sheet in over a year, and isn't a Pro user, so it's unlikely the bugs will be fixed anytime soon to make things work. If I'd do something about this, I'd scrap the sheet ,and just modify the Star Wars 5E sheet to have the right Mass Effect skills, and the result would be much better than the current Mass Effect sheet. Considering the sheet isn't functional, contains massive amount of code, it could contain any number of bugs that need fixing for things to work, so slightly editing the closest resembling 5E sheet to fit Mass Effect is a much more reasonable & realistic amount of work to make things work again. Considering the sheet haven't been edited in over a year, it's quite possible the sheet have actually never functioned and the author just gave after the first fixes didn't do anything. Edit: I sent a PM to the original author and asked if the sheet worked back when it was submitted. (I also reported the thread to be moved to the Character Sheet forum, as bugs on community contributed sheets are talked about there, and isn't something Roll20 directly maintains) Edit2: It seems I interacted with the author back when the sheet was originally submitted.
Hi Andreas! Well it's good to know that it wasnt just a problem at my end. Im a good Dm IRL but all the code and the sheets specific encryption and all of those online's details easily confused me. I'll start my game on another sheet template then, hoping for a correction of some sort perhaps one day ^^". Thank you for helping me and explaining it all, and have a nice day!
Hi all, I tried to make this sheet from the original 5e sheet, but I had very limited time and knowledge when I edited it.  My first pull request was rejected as I still had some character-mancer code in there.  When I tested it after it was accepted, I realized nothing was working properly and tried to have it removed, but was unsure of the steps to take. tl;dr: Don't use the sheet I made. Sorry to have wasted your time.

Sorry to have wasted your time. Thanks for the reply, this clears up the situation! Now we know the sheet can be de-listed, and someone can make attempts to create it later. No harm done, and you likely learned something while working on the sheet anyway, so it's a positive thing to some degree.
Hello both of you! Indeed, there's no arm done, so no need for excuses. =) I thinks that your sheets were nice and well made, so its a shame if we must delete it. Thanks for answering still, ans for clearing up this situation. Thank again Andreas for the help!
