Game day! At last! Doc Clay has descended into the watery labyrinth beneath the old Ohmalee monastery in search of the true nature of Azathoth aka the Crawling Chaos. Under the direction of Uno Grev'loch, the party is pursuing Doc Clay and hopes to retrieve the Minyama Seal from him before the good doctor finds a way to descend beneath the waters of the mirky underground lake. Here are a few bits of information that the party picked up last session: During his two-week ecological survey, Wymar Spotfur became certain that bladetooth dinosaurs could be controlled with farm dogs. During his two-week ecological survey, Wymar Spotfur uncovered two serious threats to local ranching: clawfoot packs and mutant wildlife. During his two-week ecological survey, Wymar Spotfur surveyed locals and learned that the mutant wildlife are a new phenomenon. During his two-week ecological survey, Wymar Spotfur followed a mutant hammertail. Its tail caused tremors and its khyber dragonshard was very large. The mutant hammertail attracted giant lizards that burrow through the ground and jump through the air like hyper-aggressive land dolphins. An unidentified magewright is creating and releasing a variety of mutant wildlife into the Blade Desert. Doc Clay appeared in the Ohmalee camp with little warning a couple of nights ago. After a brief and friendly exchange with Kai Ohmalee, Doc Clay descended into the caves beneath the Old Monastery. Earlier today, Kai Ohmalee and two other hunters went into the caves to find Doc. They have not emerged. The party met Mak Ohmalee and Wymar defeated him in combat, thus earning the respect of the entire tribe. I hope everyone can make it to the game. Cheers!
