Adjusting scores of creatures in the Monster Manual?

Hey all, I'm having problems with a creature in the MM and I was wondering if there was a way to adjist the creatures information in the manual that I purchased. My goblins are throwing a WAY wrong score when I am using them in battle - they are getting a +15 to their 'to hit' score for some reason, and I have no idea why - but that's only when I drag them from the manual and use the attack button above their heads when I click them. If I attack through their NPC options sheet I get the correct modifier added the their attack rolls. Also, the modifier in the NPC sheet is correct.. Is there a way to modify the buttons or something to make the goblin have the correct modifier? Also, is there a way to add more buttons to the goblin (initiative, skills etc) or do I have to make a whole new NPC for that, rendering the purchase of the MM useless?

Those buttons are likely something you added, since they are not part of the MM monster. Note that even if you drag a creature from the MM, you will instead get a copy of any creature with that name that is already in your game. This is to keep you from accidentally overwriting any customization you might have made. So my suggestion would be to rebuild the buttons. Or delete all creatures named "goblin" from your journals tab and start with a fresh MM goblin.
