I've been a tabetop player for several years, D&D 3.5 mostly, and I've been curious about Shadowrun for a while now but I haven't met anyone who plays it in my area and i'd rather not sink funds into a book that I won't use. So I was wondering if anyone could explain some of the basics to me and maybe point out a few of the more 'successful' Shadowrun campaigns on this site that I could check out before investing. Anyone willing to help a guy out?
