Hi there, my current group is wrapping up Lost Mine of Phandelver (and is soon to be moving onto CoS), and we had such a great time I wanted to start it again with a new group. We've got two players committed and we're looking for 2-4 more to complete the group. Here's a link to the listing where you can submit an application (details are also copied below), you can also see reviews from some of my current players. https://app.roll20.net/lfg/listing/189439/lost-mine-of-phandelver In the city of Neverwinter, a dwarf named Gundren Rockseeker asked
you to bring a wagonload of provisions to the rough-and-tumble
settlement of Phandalin, a couple of days’ travel southeast of the city.
Gundren was clearly excited and more than a little secretive about his
reasons for the trip, saying only that he and his brothers had found
“something big,” and that he’d pay you ten gold pieces each for
escorting his supplies safely to Barthen’s Provisions, a trading post in
Phandalin. He then set out ahead of you on horse, along with a warrior
escort named Sildar Hallwinter, claiming he needed to arrive early to
“take care of business.”
You’ve spent the last few days following the High Road south from
Neverwinter, and you’ve just recently veered east along the Triboar
Trail. You’ve encountered no trouble so far, but this territory can be
dangerous. Bandits and outlaws have been known to lurk along the trail.
About your DM:
I’m a television writer and a huge D&D fan who has been running games for over a decade. I’ve written for shows such as Heroes , Nikita , and 12 Monkeys ,
and now I want to write for you! I love taking the characters you
create and weaving them into the main story in a meaningful way. I’ll
work with you as you create your backstory and use it to integrate
important NPCs and events into the campaign. You can learn more about me
at LADungeonMaster.com
About the Game:
I run games with about a 60/40 mix of roleplay and combat. “Story is
king” as the saying goes, and we’re going to be crafting a story
together. So if your character goes charging through a door because
their arch-nemesis is on the other side (even though that might not be
the best “strategic” decision), you’ll be rewarded (by me), and we’ll
all be rewarded by being part of an epic, memorable moment. Which will
in turn spur more to follow. Who will rush in next to come to their aid?
Other Details:
Sessions will run approximately 3 hours, starting at 8:30PM PST and
running until a good stopping point between 11:30PM and midnight. Players of all experience levels welcome! I’ve run games for brand
new players and DMs with more experience than me and we’ve all had a
great time together. We’ll use Discord for voice, and Roll20 for the game and video
(video is optional though I’ve found it really adds to the game if
you’re able) All WOTC content and UA is allowed. No homebrew. No “evil” characters. “Session 0” and character creation will be handled before the game
over Discord/roll 20, so that we can jump right into a proper session 1
and start rolling some dice as soon as possible! If you’re new to roll20 (or even if you’re not) I’ll be happy to jump into a session and help you create your character.
What you Get:
Dynamic lighting, ambient music, my various character voices We’ll be using the purchased module which includes maps, tokens, handouts and more! Use of roll20 my roll20 compendium including PHB and Xanathar’s Guide for character creation Access to my DnDBeyond Content (PHB, DMG, Xanathar’s Guide) Discord Server for the campaign so we can coordinate between
