Cannot drag and drop images from the internet

I used to be able to drag an image from a website into the roll20 tab and onto the map. Now when I do so nothing happens at all, instead I have to save the image locally and then drag it from my PC onto the map. Is there a way to fix this?

Are you using Firefox or Chrome? There might be an extension or plug-in that is interfering with drag and drop. Try turning off all browser extensions, or better yet, try launching the game in an incognito/private browsing window and test there.

Hello senojmas, Please carefully work through to the first three steps of our guide to Solving Technical Issues :  Step 1: Make sure to use the right browser. Please check if these issues persist when using both Chrome and Firefox.  Step 2: Ensure that there are no addons/extensions interfering with Roll20. Please disable all add-ons/extensions.  Step 3: Clear your cache. If none of the above succeeds, please have your player thoroughly work through  Step 4 . (Don't forget the complete Console Log!) Thank you!

As far as I know, this is not possible. At least I can't do it on a Mac. I have to download first.
Thanks all, none of the solutions worked unfortunately. So I have filed a bug report.

The closest I could get to this without simply opening the image in the tab that had Roll20 in was to drag/drop the image from the downloads bar at the bottom of the browser after saving it to my computer, not quite the same functionality as you describe but saves a step or two in the more lengthy download/upload process :/ (This message comes courtesy of an idea by Franky who couldn't test because he is at work... I however, have no such qualms ;) )
