Hi, I'm a newbie on roll20 and I'm trying to find a good long-term campaign with a good DM and some jolly cooperation with other people to run a long-term level 1 to ? Just some infos about me, if any Dm is currenty looking for players, even non-English as primary language ones : Name: Andrea Nickname: Fenrir, Fen, whatever you like Age: 25 Timezone: GMT+1 (Central Europe) Actual primary Language: Italian Pay-to-Play or Free to Play ? Absolutely free-to-play. Sorry about that. Previous D&D Experience: Only played live D&D 3.5 back in the day w/ some friends at some friend's house. Never actually played 5e, but I do have both a Player's Handbook and Xanathar's Guide ready to hand. Previous Roll20 Experience: Only one session, part of a campaign that immediately died shortly afert that, more than 2 years ago Preferred Race(s): Dwarf, Tiefling, Gnome Preferred Role(s): Cleric, Bard, Wizard Preferred traits in a campaign: Home-brew worlds and settings to dive into and fully explore based on the DM's fancy. I value RolePlay and teamwork above sheer dice power or dumb heads-down charges to the enemy, preferring ambushes or strategic thinking before diving into any kind of battle. Mid-level of solving enigmas or other shenanigans, but I won't back down in front of a challenge. Who am I ? I am an almost-foreign languages-graduated guy from a small town in Southern Italy, starving to start a brand new campaign, being in English or Italian.. I reckon that won't really matter. I am confident to be fluent enough in English to avoid being a burden for descriptions or interactions even with other mothertongue English speakers. What kind of person am I ? I'm rarely shy or introverted: I love to play and role-play, and generally love to make jokes during a session -not too many, in order to avoid ruining the atmosphere.. I'm sure you get the idea of what I'm saying here. I am generally pretty gregarious and relaxed in terms of difference between player and character. Whatever happens to my character, happens to him and ONLY to him. Won't affect me with any other player within the party out of the game and the character itself, I'm not THAT kind of person at all. I play to relax and have some good time. Arguing about whatever or start a fight within the players it's really not my piece of cake. Weekdays, weekends.. when can I join ? Generally speaking, weekdays are a preferred date and time. Usually in the afternoon (From 2 PM on considering my timezone) to almost midnight is perfect, but I can't assure you anything during weekends, at all. What is my favourite part of D&D (combat, RP, lore..): As I already mentioned, role-playing is what I love above anything else, along with exploration and discovering the lore of the world I play in, and if it's also home-brewed.. well, you better hit me with the best you can, 'cause I will discover just about everything I can during the campaign about the world, the important characters, its' story and whatever. Or at least, I'll try it without experiencing a horrible death by your hands. Still, I'll give it a shot, no matter what will happen to my character in the meantime. Also, Combat it's pretty fun, yeah, but XP points are secondary to the amusement I get to just being.. not myself for a few hours a week (If you want to play even two time a week.. count on me) Anything else I'd like to say about myself ? Yeah, I DO indeed eat pasta everyday, that's not a stereotype. Everything else.. might or might not be it. Let's find out together, shall we ?
