Heya, I’m an
experienced DM seeking one more player to join our game. Unfortunately for my
group one of our players had to drop out do to being unable to make the time.
We are looking to find someone to fill his gap. As you can imagine with one
already dropping out time commitment is one of the biggest things I'm looking
for from a player. We are currently playing at 5:30-~9:30 pm Central time on
Thursdays. This is to be a very long-term campaign with plans to go up to level
20.
As for the player itself someone with at least some experience in DnD would be
preferred. Can play basically any class and race within setting restrictions.
Don't need to feel the need to fill a class role the current party is missing
but if you want to do that go right ahead. I try to give my players a good
mix of roleplay and combat encounters so be prepared for that. We currently use
Roll20 as our VTT and discord for voice chat and out of game conversations.
The setting itself has been worked on fairly extensively on and off for a small
while now. The current map file is ~16000 by ~16000 pixels and just over 21 MB
with the fully labeled GM copy of the map being a bit larger file size wise
than that. It contains ~300 unique cities, within 14 (well technically more but
I’ll go with that) separate nations, that will eventually all have their own
unique city map made by me. One notable thing about my setting just to give you
a taste; Tieflings are the opposite of how they are in lore. Instead of being
the outcasts of society they’re seen as heroes of society due to them being
born from the soul and spirit of one of the creator gods who sacrificed himself
to save the planet.
The current campaign that the party is on is searching the world for lost
dwarven holds for powerful artifacts in order to aid one nation who is
currently in a 4-way war in the center of the main continent. The party is
currently only level 3 though very close to level 4. We use the XP system
to level up, but XP is rewarded for non-combat encounters as well.
If any of this sounds like you, I would love to hear from you.
