"Next Game" Notification

I've read a handful of posts about this idea of Roll20 sending an email to players some time ahead of the upcoming game, but just about all of them were 3-4 years ago.. so I'm reiterating this sentiment in the hopes of gaining traction!  I would love to see some other things people have talked about (again, years ago) with regards to implementing a scheduling assistant. It could be as simple as the GM proposing a time and then players (emailed of said proposed time) accepting or rejecting the time, or it could be as complex as GM/players offering their best days for game play during a given week or month and sending to everyone (or just the GM) the times everyone matched up and then the GM selecting one. Of course, with this, there would be a necessity for being able to change availability and repeat the process, but this would be extremely  helpful.  As cool as the scheduling assistant would be, at the very least, players should be getting notifications for upcoming games by an amount of time and frequency determined by the GM.  I have absolutely no desire to use Facebook and I feel weird asking my party to download/sign up for "just one more thing..." (i.e., Doodle, Obsidian Portal, etc.) - to have Roll20 manage this aspect of game play would be a tremendous help.
