Monster Manual troubles

I recently purchased the Monster Manual and can easily drop any token onto the VTT.  My problem is that I cannot open a clickable player character sheet for any of the monsters.  I am using Google Chrome as my browser and have cleared my cache.  Please help.  Thanks!

Most likely culprit: make sure your campaign has a character sheet chosen. If that's not the issue, can you supply more details? What happens when you try to open a sheet? How are you trying, and what do you see?

I am not sure if this explanation helps, but here goes.  First, I do not see where my purchase is showing up anywhere.  It isn't under Marketplace purchases.  When I access the compendium, if I drag a Blue Dragon onto the VTT, I can access the player character sheet that allows me to click for various actions such as an attack. If I try to drag a skeleton, zombie, swarm of anything, or a kobold onto the VTT, I only get a "read only" description and do not have the ability to use the clickable feature.  

Possible culprit: If you previously had a homebrew version or even an edited version of one of the problem creatures (let's use the skeleton), dragging from the compendium would only create a version on the VTT of your already-resident creature. Try deleting ALL instances of any creature named "skeleton" from your journal tab. Then try re-importing from the Compendium.

It also sounds it's possible that you're looking at the "journal" tab of the NPC, and not the actual character sheet. Could you share a screenshot of one of these "read-only" NPCs?
