Mom, I'm very concerned about writing this letter. I'm not sure if you will even receive it, or if my new friends would won't me to send it. But, I feel like I have to do this. I'm at my friend, Turag's mom's house. She is very kind and a big-to-do here in Stormspire. She bakes fantastic lemon and rosemary drop cookies filled with the most wonderful lemon jelly and Swiss meringue. Do you bake anything yummy, mom? We just got back from the North Pole...well, it was another dimension where Santa lives, but it basically was the North Pole. I know it's July. But there it felt like Christmas everyday. After getting gifts from Santa, we helped him and his elves by vanquishing (my friends have been helping me with my vocab studies Dad is having me do) Krampus. Apparently, this giant scary goat man had been sucking all the magic out of Christmas. My friends and I showed him a thing or two about having some holiday cheer. After my friend Miss ThorFrid, who was a Yule Dragon named Frignir, gave Mr. Krampus a big hug and stopped him from using his powers, I used Santa's gift (a Red Rider carbide-action three barrel fireball slinging...menorah?) to help his heart grow three sizes bigger. Turns out, having your heart grow three times bigger isn't too good for your healthy. A big hole opened up beneath him to the dimension of the Elder God, Bah-H'mm Bughh. If you thought Krampus was bad, this terrible looking Elder God is a big meany. After we vanquished (in order to put it in my memory I had to use it at least twice, says Mr. Turag...he's a good teacher) Krampus, we used Mr. Silas's flying submarine to go to Stormspire. It might just be me, but I think Mr. Turag has a crush on Mr. Silas...I am totally shipping them...Silag! We are spending the night at Mrs. Turag's house tonight. She made Miss Rebecca have a funny dream, where Apollo told her to go to this fun lady house. Apparently, the house has a lot of beds that you can jump on and make a lot of noise on. It's sort of like a big slumber party that happens every night, except Sunday, I think. Anyway, it sounds like a lot of fun! I am so glad Mr. Keegan (he is my dwarves cyber knight friend) let me come along. We are going there in the morning. I hope to send another letter tomorrow after we visit the lady house. I'm packing my puppy jammies that Dad got me for Christmas last year. They have a bulldog on them that look just like Tut. I really wish you could have been there for that Christmas. My birthday is coming up soon. If you forgot, it's in October. Well, until tomorrow...Mom (still feels weird writing that). Love, Beneficence MacArawn (La Fey)
