Is there any way to minimise the maps at the screen? I hate throwing away battle maps and background images, since I might use em in the future, but they take up a crap ton of space!
If you are talking about on the map toolbar in the game, you can just click on the image properties and select archive. This hides their preview image but they still load when you enter the game.
You can archive them, which will not keep them from loading at run time, but will keep them from displaying in your page menu. If you upgraded to Pro, you could Transmogrify them into a different library , campaign. You can also increase the number of maps displayed with this Stylus style .
