Now that we have two teams (for the sake of discussion - team starting actual play 02/02/20 at 4pm CST will be Team A, the one starting 02/09/20 at 4pm CST will be Team B), here is how this will work. 1) Team composition is relatively set.  If two players on opposite teams express the desire to switch, we can do that.  As a general rule, players for Team A cannot play in Team B games, and vice-versa. 2) In the event players don't show up (either pre-planned, or just no-show on game day).  If one or two players are absent, no big deal.  It's not like these are small teams.  3) It's Highly recommended you keep 'in touch' with what the other team is doing.  I'll try to update the Visaria Times for thumbnail descriptions, but Team B players are more than welcome to join the Discord Chat and chat along with the players.  I'm hoping we can use Discord for most of the game discussion, since the non-playing team won't be able to see chat in the alternate teams game in Roll20 being ran.  Thank you to whoever moved the handouts from the Roll20 game to the Discord Chat.  Feel free to do that in any of the Roll 20 games we run.  Team B players are also welcome to follow the audio Discord channel during the game - just mute your mic so you don't add to the talk.  During actual gameplay, the voice will be much more critical so I can put out game issues and descriptions, answer questions, set marching and initiative orders, etc.  These rules, of course, equally apply to Team A folks when Team B is playing 02/09/20 and subsequent alternate Sundays. 4) Should a team in play find themselves with 6 players or less - I will assess the setup of the team.  If there are, say no fighters, or no healers, or no mages (I know, highly unlikely there, but just stating the case), and we have a player who's character is the same 'type' following along from the alternate team in Discord chat, and it can be done reasonably easily (another reason I wanted to have a copy of everybody's player sheet, either online or in an email - D&DBeyond links work fine, as does Roll20 characters), if that player for the other team wants to play, we can add him/her to the team for that session.   5) Rule 4 in no way guarantees that a player can play every week.  But it does demonstrate why it will be important to stay up to date on what the other team is doing.  You don't have to come here on your off-weekend and follow along (though you are more than welcome to do so, just don't log into Roll20 to do it!), but do keep up with the game descriptions in the Viseria Times.   Now to post this on the other game and go to work.  I'll be around, just at work, so won't be able to answer questions quickly.  See Team A (and any Team B who want to follow along) tomorrow!
