Played D&D back when Stan Lee was still writing comic books and read all Tolkien's stories long before they were on film. I am very familiar with the 5e platform and am a current player on Roll20 and a 5e DM in RL for awhile now. Not interested in anime style games - I like traditional story lines. First choice would be 5e platform, but would be willing to try Pathfinder if the DM has some patience. I have played 3.5 before, which is similar to Pathfinder. I am looking to play with others who enjoy RP and are patient enough to allow everyone a chance to shine. Storyline and character backstories are important - I am willing to build a character to fit the DM's story/world rather than try to force a character into a group that simply makes no sense. I am happy to play a 4 hour game with no combat, as long as the RP is a shared experience with players who are 100% into the story, and allow everyone to engage. I will say that I do thrive on awesome combat, but combat has to follow the story and mean something , rather than be just pointless hack-and-slash. Due to work and family commitments, I can only play evenings on weeknights and weekends. Prefer time slots after 7pm EST. Would prefer to play with mature, experienced players who are serious about the game - I am fine with a paid game if the purpose is to keep unwanted players out. Willing to commit to a campaign on a regular basis. If you are still reading this, my guess is you are a serious DM and want solid players for your game. I am happy to chat with you anytime. Thanks, and may the Force be with you.
