April 20-21, 2946 As the Party was studying Skari and trying to decide what to do, the PCs began to hear mewling from the other side of the caver across the great rift in the floor. Trying a rope to himself, Fosco made his way across and eventually found the offspring of the creature. Approaching it carefully, he was able pick it up and carrying to back across the rift. So, Sis turned out to be kind of a bitch. She was set up at the cave mouth in an ambush. She demanded all the teeth from the creature. Thinking fast, Radril was able to defuse the tense situation and convince the gang that they had only extracted two teeth which she handed over. Saying that they had to get Skari back, the PCs hurried off. On their trip down the mountain, they let Skari’s feet drag on the ground a moment. As Radril was watching to see if they had been followed, they witnessed a second creature creeping toward the cave. As the watched, it entered. That’s when the screams started. The PCs returned to the village. At the Hut, they met a trio of elves from Taur Romen near the Sea of Rhun. Their leader Callevlio told them that their land was seemingly being poisoned. They feared that the Shadow was manifesting again in the East. When questioned, they did not know Weodwyn, but did seem to have a lot of information on the creatures including how to heal Skari. To de-petrify him, they needed to coat him in the creature’s blood. He also talked a bit about the rise of the Easterling leader, Borthand, and the Cerulean Order founded by the Blue Wizards to fight against the Shadow in the East.
