Images in chat do not auto display

I was texting action buttons for tokens and tried to do an image button as I saw on some forums and youtube. When the chat window blipped, only the word image appeared and it was a hyperlink rather then showing the image as I wanted. I tested it in various ways and it still showed up as a hyperlink only. I even tried the exact verbage on the wiki. ---- [Roll20 Logo]( http://roll20.net/assets/themes/roll20/images/new-logo-white-sm.png Note on Images: Including an image is just putting in a link to an image. If the link ends in ".png", ".jpg", ".jpeg", or ".gif", we will automatically insert an image tag in addition to linking to the source image. ---- The image was a jpg and another was a gif. Both did not display.
I figured out the error. In the url it has a string of numbers at the end of the jpg file direction. Deleting those takes you still to the same image. Not sure why when you copy paste the link these numbers show up. I'll keep this up as a learning experience in case someone else runs into the same rookie mistake.

But, where it says "med" that stands for medium size version of your image. When you upload an image, it automatically makes the sizes: thumb. med. max. where max.jpg is the full or largest size available, thumb.jpg is a miniature thumbnail.

To begin with, the graphic that the wiki page links to is missing, so the command as written will never work. If you want to test something to make sure there isn't a syntax problem try putting this into chat: [Roll20 Logo](https://app.roll20.net/v2/images/roll20-logo.png) As for the gif issue, are you sure it doesn't say med.webm? Both webm and gif support animation and can be confused with one another. I'm not sure if the chat can display either.
I save the gif to my own folder as gif format. When I upload it to here, it converts it to webm.

Does it display on the VTT when you place it? In my tests, they will not display in chat.
I can only show a gif from a url link. Anytime I try to add a picture that is a gif, it'll convert it.
