Game day! The party has spent an exhausting week cleaning up after the Battle of Toads. Any plan to counterattack the Citadel may be on hold because Minister (Templar) Trucco, a close ally, has gotten himself into trouble! Minister Trucco was the first to believe the party about the threat posed by Abilene and, as leader of The Purified, he helped drive the monster out of town. During the Battle of Toads, The Purified helped defeat the slaadi in the Original Settlement and assisted Uno's efforts to restore order during the week. Right now, The Purified vigilantly patrol the streets of Griffon Gulch to protect against another Citadel attack. During the last session, the party learned a few things including: Kobolds won't hunt dinosaurs (including the mutants) out of fear that they would offend the Ohmalee tribe. The red slaadi seem more intent on causing a large number of wounded enemies. They moved to a new target rather than kill a wounded and disadvantaged foe. Tallian is being targeted for assassination by the Citadel of Silk. Romance's Army is taking control of the Bellboy Farms but are showing little regard for the living. Deadeyes are conducting farm-to-farm searches in an effort to eliminate chaos phage. They use force as necessary. The Vassals have armed themselves and are taking control of parts of the Original Settlement. Violence between The Purified and the Vassals seems possible, especially in the Original Settlement. Isabella says the goods stolen from the special caravan were stolen at night by bandits (not caravan workers). Despite a well-planned guard routine, no one on the special caravan's night shift saw anything. Everyone involved in the special caravan are trusted members of the Griffon Gulch community. They did not use mercenary aid. According to Jaalbash, Glorious Leader wants Griffon Gulch to spare the lives of Eyle-Iyle, "the entity called New-cee". and "her children, the spiders." According to Jaalbash, Glorious Leader does not care about the lives of Priestess Pantinian and her slaadi cult. According to Jaalbash, Eyle-Iyle is more of a prisoner at the Citadel of Silk than a leader. According to Jaalbash, Eyle-Iyle creates euphoria in those around her and causes great dreams, especially when she is asleep. According to Jaalbash, Priestess Pantinian and the slaadi are addicted to Eyle-Iyle's euphoric abilities. According to Jaalbash, Eyle-Iyle is prone to infatuations and obsessions. "Eyle-Iyle followed the Great Magewright ... err, our Glorious Leader ... here against our Leader's wishes." Minister (Templar) Trucco accidentally opened a magical gate when trying to summon invisible assassins. Minister (Templar) Trucco was trying to summon invisible assassins to eliminate Priestess Pantinian when he opened the gate. The Purified were harassing Abilene and vandalized her cottage. Although no new NPCs appeared, the party was reintroduced to Jeremiah, the ogre who survived the party's attack on Knuckles' gang in Ishtaca's Tomb. He is super nice now, so no worries there!
