Hello, I am a newish player to D&D 5E. I have DM'd a few sessions but have only played once. I am looking for a group that plays on Saturday or Sunday nights sometime between 1600-0600.  As a DM, I have run the Lost Mines of Phandelver and a couple of sessions of homebrew for my players. The character I have played is Errich Tosscobble, a Rogue folowing the Thief Archetype. Errich Tosscobble trained as a wizard's apprentice from childhood until the age of 37. He found that he had no magical talent during this time and could only cast through careful study of rituals. Throwing himself into his studies, Errich never learned to socialize and often speaks his mind without considering the effects his words might have on others. In his 37th year, Errich managed to ritual summon a powerful being in his search for spellcasting abilities. That being told Errich of an item that could make him the greatest wizard ever, but it is locked away and guarded in a place that only a master thief could possibly hope to penetrate successfully. In exchange for this information, the being took Errich's soul. Errich left his apprenticeship to begin his journey toward mastering the thieving arts and hopes that he can win his soul back by acquiring the magical object. Errich is easily distracted by the promise of information that might increase his abilities, bring him closer to regaining his soul, or both.
