Random Images Suddenly Not Visible

I just recently started losing flooring tiles on a lot of my maps in Roll20. I usually add them by using the search feature built within the program. A lot of the tiles I use are still working, but a lot aren't. Not really sure what is going on, but it happened within the past week. Any ideas?
i had the same problem today! Just like you said only the floor tiles weird?

If you got them from the search function, were they images from the web instead of something available in your library or on the marketplace? If so, the images may no longer be available. I have a couple handout banner images that have vanished that way, and am slowly replacing stuff I got that way with things I have actually tracked down and uploaded as part of my library.
Oof - I wouldn't expect that behavior, and that is really unfortunate if true. Surprised it doesn't cache or download the image to your account storage/library as part of dragging it from the search to prevent stuff like this. The part that makes it really bad is replacing it is not very easy - layering with complex rooms with things such as tables with items on them. From the map perspective...it is almost like the tile doesn't exist on the map at all anymore. It isn't like a "broken image", it is literally just completely like it never existed (can't select in map layer where the tile used to be).

Yeah, if they are from the web and the source is gone, that is probably about right. On a handout, it will show a broken image in the journal by the handout name, but will just be blank (no broken image symbol) when the handout itself is opened.

That doesn't sound right. How does one place an art resource in a game without it being copied to the game? Other than using a URL link in-text: [image](URL) , all graphics, when placed are imported to your library or remain resident in the Marketplace library.
Yeah definitely not doing anything fancy. Just searching for "Wooden Floor" in the "Map Tiles and Textures" search, and dragging it onto the map. I have SEVERAL impacted maps too, and it isn't just one specific tile either. Missing the stone floor of one map...wooden floor on another...etc. . Edit: Your post made me check. Actually looking at various assets that I had in my library, a lot seem to have randomly vanished as well....IE. I had a "Yuan-ti Token", and it shows in my "Recent Uploads"...but there is no image associated with it. Looking further...missing a lot of stuff I have manually uploaded. I don't think it is anything like a space issue either - I have plenty remaining.
Hey all - So I can best assist here, let's get confirmation of the exact issue behavior. For all the images you have noticed are missing, how did you get them into your game? Did you download any of them from the internet to somewhere on your computer and then re-upload to your game? Or were all of them added to your game via the search results under From the Web ? If they were added via the From the Web search results, what is your workflow for adding them to your game? Do you first right-click and select Copy to Library or Copy to Folder ? Or do you just directly drag-and-drop them onto your tabletop from the results?
Thanks for reaching out Nicholas! In my case, I have two separate scenarios. Both are seemingly inconsistent. 1. The most relevant one: "Floor tiles" I am using have suddenly vanished from several of my maps. This is not impacting all tiles that I have used. The steps I took to get them into my game are as follows: Click Art Library button in Roll20 Change search dropdown to Maps, Tiles, Textures Type what I am searching for in the search box, and press enter. Example: Wooden Floor. Browse through the pictures in the "From the web" option, and left-click drag one of the images that appears from those search results directly onto my play area map. If I need to re-use that tile, I will sometimes left-click the tile, press ctrl+c to copy, and then ctrl+v to paste. This is very common for me for floor tiles. 2. Additionally, certain images that I have saved onto my computer, and left-click dragged into Roll20 which now show under the "My Library" tab in "Art Library", no long have images associated with them in Roll20. This also seems to happen for images I have added via the "Upload" page on an NPC in the character sheet. I still see an entry for them in "My Library", but when dragging the image into my play area, nothing shows. Additionally there is a "broken image" icon next to them. See the below for a screenshot example: This one is substantially less pressing, as the images still seem to be in the character sheets of the creatures....just not on this screen for some reason.

Hey everyone - After further investigation, there seems to be some concurrent posts regarding this same issue. To best figure out what is going on here, we are starting a form to collect data regarding the problem. We would ask that you please fill it out to the best of your availability. Here is the link to it: https://forms.gle/h1QCmsAaq9DhwoWk8. If you have already submitted similar information to us, our apologies, but we would please ask that you resubmit that information in the above form. Thank you for your patience!
Thanks I submitted mine. The console log did look like it had relevant information - some of the warning logs were referencing some of the tiles I am missing.
Hey folks - We're still investigating this problem, but I just wanted to check in: have any of those images that were broken come back for you? Or are all of them still having issues?
Mine are definitely still missing/broken.
Mine seem to be fixed but we'll see how long they stay that way.
I am jealous - mine are still missing :(.
Hey Zephyr Tempest - We've been keeping an eye on this and it seems to be a pretty isolated issue. To better troubleshoot and understand the problem you're encountering, would you mind adding in new images to a game via various methods and let me know if they appearing correctly for you (not broken), please? I would try adding some via the From the Web section of the Art Library , from your computer, and from Marketplace purchases, if available. Thank you in advance for your patience here!
New images haven't had a problem fortunately. Just old ones.
