[LFDM][Monsterhearts 2] - A Group Of Players Looking For a Master Of Ceremonies To Run a Monsterhearts Game

Greeting And Salutations Person Reading This \o/ As the tittle so carefully explains, we are looking for someone who is willing to run a short (or possible longer) Monsterhearts game since we're totally original and totally didn't find out the game existed due to the Critical Roll One-Shot. We are a group of six people with some experience playing together which means it's going to be easier adjusting to whatever our future DM decides to throw at us. Since everyone has their fancy timezone, we thought it would be a good idea to just set everything in discord and just run it from there since all rolls can be performed by a bot and Discord RP Servers seem to be a thing now xD but regardless, we can adjust quite easily. Anyway, thank you for reading this far <3 and if you are interested o/ give us a call... or a reply... I have no idea whats the proper term for this
Hey there, old school Monsterhearts MC here: I'm just letting you know you probably won't get a great game with six players and one MC. Most of the time I limit games to 4 players or, if I'm feeling like flexing my MC muscles or letting a newbie in, 5. I'm worried with 6 players you will get a newer MC and/or have a bad experience with the system. I do understand the camaraderie of a good gaming group; but I'd feel you'd have better luck with fewer players in the game or take a rotating cast experience with the world - or look for two MCs and have two groups of 3! Best of luck!
I 100% Agree with Ferret here - I’ve played a lot of PBTA (Masks, MotW, Apocalypse world and the like) but traditionally the game is best played at 4 players maximum, 5 with an experienced Storyteller. Perhaps If you had a set time and rotated the cast it would work better, but again you’d need someone **very** good. I wish you all luck!
seems like an .... interesting system, any idea where one might find online resources for that system ?
You can find all you'd need to run or be in a basic game at buriedwithoutceremony.com along with some extra Skins (classes).
We just assumed having 6 people meant less NPCs for the MC to handle xD and considering we didn't exactly play this (one of us did but not a fun experience) we thought we would just give it a shot. But thanks for the replies <3
Okay, after some inside debate. We managed to shrink the group to 5 people if that helps somehow
