Hello all, I'm a relatively new GM. I've been playing 5e and DMing IRL and Roll20 for about a year and a half. I'm looking for players (no more than 5) to run a Homebrew Campaign. I've started running it with a group IRL and Roll20, but only in between a campaign GMed by a friend, so we don't get to run it often, and I'm hoping to find a group that is able to play once a week during evenings (around 7pm EST)or on weekends. Sessions can be 2-4 hours depending on the day/time we can coordinate and the preferences of the group. Background : The story is basically a mystery. Your characters start out not knowing where they are out how they got there. I try to have a good balance of RP, combat, non-combat encounters, puzzles, etc. I prefer a balanced tone as well, between fun humor and serious play. The setting is dynamic and will reveal itself more throughout the adventure. The campaign begins with at least a few sessions that are a bit railroaded, but afterwards there is opportunity for more sandboxing. Essentially, the second chapter, is a bit open ended at this point. Depending on the players' preference, I can develop it more towards a conclusion or a more long term adventure. Characters : Standard 27 Point Buy Level: 4th Magic Items: 2 uncommon or 1 rare (chosen by player and approved by GM) Race: Any Class: Any Background: because of the dynamic nature of this setting you have a lot of creative freedom to write an in depth background for your character. You can make almost any creative decisions about the setting you are from, what you've done, what your goals are, etc. as long as it makes sense with your character and fits within the DnD universe. If I have any concerns about what you send to me or need clarification I will let you know. Edit: This will generally be a PG-13 tyoe campaign, but if the players are up for more adult play we can discuss and agree. Respond if you are interested and I will begin coordinating from there. I will definitely give preference to the first ones to express interest. Thanks!
