Tutorial is broken

When I get to the layers part of the tutorial, one of the black instruction text boxes pops up off screen. Also in the tutorial, the topic text chat never shows anything. Anyone have any ideas?

Same here - lots of parts especially in the second half of the tutorial don't work.  I got stuck multiple times with text boxes disappearing off screen

The tutorial is a well known cluster-bomb of broken, it's one of the dangers of an ever evolving service that it is almost always immediately out of date or based on older code bases that no longer work as intended. The team are aware of a long list of issues, until such a time as new one is released or the concept is scrapped entirely I would recommend learning what you can from it, then searching/asking on the forums for anything else you need help with. It still has value as a starting point but making a 'test game' to play around in is also a valid way to play around with the features, albeit without the guidance of the tutorial.

Yeah, you can play use the tutorial, but if anything seems it doesn't work properly, just skip that section of the tutorial and play around with the feature in a proper game that you create. One of the things I know for sure doesn't work in the Tutorial is the Jukebox, that part is definitely broken.
