Snap-Object-to-Nearest-Notch Feature

Currently, all objects will snap to the grid. However, there are certain maps or games where a grid-layout would not be logical. For example, a game with cards would benefit from a different kind of snapping; Snapping to "notches". To explain what I mean by a notch;  This is the idea I was thinking about; something that you can pin something to. For example, snapping the center of a card or a token to the center of the notch. This would help with a game where you have to lay out cards in a specific pattern; this is the case for the Pathfinder-related property called "The Harrow", where you have to lay out the cards in ways that are sometimes inconvenient in a square or hex grid.   If I could instead lay out on the map exactly where objects are supposed to snap to rather than the system telling me where I'm allowed to let objects snap, I could do more with my layouts too, such as buildings where rooms aren't all square, rectangular boxes. I could imagine this system working by allowing the DM to drag and drop standard tables of squares. Like so; Perhaps something like this is already possible. I haven't heard of it if it is!
You can remove the grid. Or hold Alt. while moving the token in question, it will ignore the grid.

you can also make the grid smaller like i have a 25widthx25hight 70px/1grid and then on the cell width part do .5. makes the grid have smaller squares.
