Last session, the party discovered: Draconic Prophecy predicted Uno's arrival at the laboratory of Doctor Roper. Doctor Roper is a Cyran war mage who is trying to develop a roper-based super weapon. The Gigaroper is a magically-altered roper that absorbs enemy combatants and grows more powerful. The hysterical faces of absorbed people appear on the sides of the Gigaroper. Doctor Roper does not know the Last War is over. Doctor Roper will violently deny claims the Last War is over because it means he has wasted years of his life in Khyber. Doctor Roper has destroyed several valuable magic items trying to find a way to escape. Doctor Roper's patron is a Cyran warlord named Lord Conterio ir'Alasta. He has been missing since the Day of Mourning. Minister Barzett received a warning about Uno's letter and orders from Church leadership via a House Sivis (magic) message. Templars among The Purified have been ordered out of New Galifar by church leadership in Newthrone. Fearing retribution from Vassals, many parishioners of the Garden of the Pure are leaving with the Templars. The Purified plan to travel across the Blade Desert and Talenta Plains to Gatherhold.
