Two fairly new Zweihander players looking for a 18+ group to be players in. Would prefer one or more other players in the group. We are both around 30 years old. The times that work for both of us are 4pm-11pm CST weekdays and noon-late CST weekends. Content to settle on a variety of schedules within that between a couple days a week and once every other week. My friend has played and DMed over a variety of Table Top games for 10+ years. I have been mostly playing a few different table top games for about 8 years, but have a little bit of experience DMing Dungeons and Dragons 5e. We both have the core rulebook and he has the Main Gauche. We do have a little bit of experience at Zweihander. My friend DMed the few sessions it took a group of myself and a couple others to get through the short campaign in the core rulebook. Between that and a few other sessions he DMed for us of a homebrew story, before too many people flaked on us a few times over, we got a decent understanding of a lot of the fundamentals. So we won't be completely learning from scratch. As for the exact type of play we are looking for I think we are both willing to be pretty flexible on most things. Homebrew story is fine, though we would prefer to avoid too much of an abundance of homebrew rules with us still being eager to experience the base mechanics more. Also, I don't believe the overall structure matters too much to either of us so long as it isn't too short, like just a couple a one shots. We are both looking for a significantly longer and deeper overall experience in to the game with a reasonably dedicated group. The final thing I think is worth mentioning here is that neither of us take table top games unreasonably seriously, but we do take committing our time to others for them seriously. We are both on the the same page about it being similar to other organized leisure where it is quite inconsiderate to miss a session for anything that isn't an immediate responsibility in real life that can't wait or have been handled before the scheduled meeting time.
