Hello everyone, I am currently looking for some additional players for my homebrew campaign. This game will probably be a little or a lot different from most games you have joined. First, I only have the bones of what I want to do (that’s on purpose I promise.) I want this to be more than just a game where I give you a couple of paragraphs about my setting and expect you to make characters based on that. I want this to be a setting everyone has a hand in building to help you become invested and to have a deep investment for your character.  So unlike most D&D games this game will be about the party and how they deal with aspects of the world we create. If you aren’t interested in having a hand in world building and storytelling this game probably won't be for you. The game will be heavily RP and exploration focused. There will be combat, but it will have a purpose to push the narrative forward instead of just being random encounters.  Anyway, I guess I should tell you what the premise of the game is. Your characters will be students at a school for the gifted. Gifted or Awakened are individuals who developed enhanced abilities as a response to the appearance of “Dungeons' ' which are thought to be portals to alternate dimensions. The beings on the other side of these portals are resistant to conventional weaponry this is where the Awaken come in handy as they have the ability to combat these creatures.  The concept pulls from a few different settings, it will have this Isekai, X-Men in highschoo l feel to it. So the characters will be teenagers dealing with teenager problems while also having the heavy burden of being the world’s future protectors. There will be a lot of character development in this game and where your character starts more than likely won't be where they end.  Also, this game is heavily homebrew. I know some people are put off by it so wanted to give a forewarning before you apply. The start day/time are still undecided but we will mostly likely be running on Fridays or Saturdays (CST).
