I know you can right clik and select all then choose group. But is there a way to lock that group of tokens together permanently? after i unselect and go to another token and come back they arent grouped anymore(at least for me) and if i forget to reselect/group i grab just one and mess the stack all up.

It's a bit quirky, but fairly versatile once you get the hang of it. If you click and drag on the member of a group, it moves independently. If you click on any member of the group, and then click a second time before dragging, it moves the group as a unit. Quirky, like I said, but it gives you both options without requiring any ungrouping.
