Mature (IE OLD 50) Male D&D player Trying to find a Level 1 starter game

HI  My names Lee, I played D&D 1st 2nd and Advanced back in the 80's recently purchased the Starter Set, BUT in my area I'm struggling to find a gaming group. I have discord and a mic but no camera and a very basic understanding of discord. BUT no idea where to start a character prep or how to join a roll20 game.  Looking to join a level 1 start game and in the hope some of the other players or DM could take me through a session 0, character generation and how to roll dice extra on a electronic basis.  I have played many online RPGs IE Warcraft etc Anyway hopefully someone sees this and is willing to help an old timer out. Imagine me as the "Flint Fireforge" of roleplaying Regards Lee

You might want to mention your time zone and game availability. I have a 5E Hardcore Mode/Five Torches Deep Friday Campaign that meets at 7:00 PM CDT and has just started there is room for a few more players. This game has that earlier version of D&D feel and with the OSR (Old School Revival) movement taking off and your experience this might be a good fit for you. If interested send a Private Message to Ajax.
