Two users on same network crashes video link

I run a small game where myself and my partner are on the same network. We  get constant issues with the video links with player not visible or audible to me but to the others. Refreshing fixes it for a while. ive tried using a Vpn on one machine to reduce this issue but I’m struggling to work out how to stop this. Is it a bug or is it not suitable for users on the same network? The trouble shooting hasnt helped either. Chrome  None Mac OS 10.14.6 Can't get a console log until everyone else logs on next game in a week. Thanks,  matt.

I've run video between instances on the same network, but never while also trying to talk with someone outside the network. Roll20 A/V is quirky at best. Rather than beat your head over it, I'd look into trying to supplement your play experience with a third party A/V solution like Discord or Skype.
Thanks Keith, we were pondering using skype and just using roll20 for maps and sounds.  We seem to chat, say hello and as soon as I start the game we start dropping in and out.

I usually have good performance from it until we exceed four connections. Other people seem to have no trouble at all. There's voodoo in it.
There are currently 3 players and me but I am possibly adding a 4th. Sounds like Skype May be the way.
