DM LFP's 3.5 D&D Forgotten Realms. Monday 7pm-11pm EST. weekly sessions.

2 spots available to join. Only looking for serious and mature players and those willing to commit to a long running campaign. Players will be starting at level 1 and using Basic Core classes at start up from the PHB then after level 1 can branch off using all Manuals within the Forgotten Realms setting and all 3.5 books (minus a couple). Sessions like in the title stated are held every Monday from 7pm-11pm EST. The Campaign is considered "Mid-Magic" as far as finding, buying and gaining magical Items. The XP flow is geared around the DMG to a T for encounters but offers multiple ways to earn even more XP per sessions via Quests, Rping, Out of the Box thinking, solving Riddles and puzzles amongst other things. In General looking for mature players that want to legitimately play some D&D without drama based players or Min/maxers that selfishly are out for their own fun and not taking into account others idea of fun and contribution. Please check my Roll20 page for this campaign at: https://app.roll20.net/campaigns/details/5948002/sea-of-dragons-d-and-d-3-dot-5ed-forgotten-realms
As someone who loves the setting, what is the current party make up? I might be interested in joining.
I've played a bit in the forgotten realms. And "also" interested. Not played via the web outside of a couple persistent worlds in nwn or nwn2 in years. If a character type is open that I'd be interested in, i'd like to join as well.
So I've never played 3.5 dnd haha. I've also only used Roll 20 a few times. I'm not new to DND and have played just I've only ever played 5E... As for min-maxing don't worry. My characters are useless. Mostly... I like make more 'fun' characters that can have party interaction, and some RP rather than simply making a character that just kills everything. I understand if you don't want me since again, never played 3.5 I'd probably slow the game down for a little while haha.

I’ll tell you right now any DM that will refuse the opportunity to teach a system they love to someone, isn’t the kind of DM you need. I’ve played 3.5 edition for years now, and I’m still learning new things within it. It’s a big system but allows for creativity like no other (pathfinder is a close second imo). If you’re accepted in I wish you the most fun. I own all of the forgotten realms books hard copy and a majority of the 3.5e books digitally. With 3.5 there’s literally no way to play the same combination the exact same way. One elf bard could be a suave ladies man, and another elf bard could be amazing at talking the signet ring off of a king. So much customization goes into it that 3.5 hardly gets boring.
Looks great, too bad I can't stay up that late. Have fun!!! :)

While I have never played 3.5e, I would love to try it out! I'm a big fan of long term campaigns, having just finished a 2 1/2 year campaign. I'll admit a love of combat, but also can have boatloads of fun RPing. I've used Roll20 quite a bit, but only for 5e and your time schedule works well for me. Hope to see you in-game! Edit: I should mention I'm 29 and can maintain the mature-but-fun mindset you seem to be looking for.
