First time user needs some help

I am running a game for the first time. I could hear and see my players, but after a few minutes, I no longer was connected. They can see/hear each other. I can hear game audio, game sounds, but not them. Assume I have something that is conflicting, but need some help in figuring out what it might be. If there is somewhere else I can find answers and this is the wrong place, I apologize.

The consensus is that for small groups (4 or less), Roll20 audio / video is just okay (or was prior to the huge virus influx of 2020).  Most people use Discord or Skype for comms and roll 20 for everything else.
