During character creation, my friends said they couldn't choose a race, and that only "Custom" and "Choose" were available. I also encountered this while editing a character's class. Any help would be appreciated.
Unless the creator of the game owns some of the books (on Roll20) and shares that content in the game, then the charactermancer only contains content from the SRD.
That being said, if there is bandwidth overload or a temporary poor connection, those fields can fail to populate with even the default entries. If that's the case, it's in the hands of the internet gods, and your best bet is to reload the game and try again, maybe after waiting a few minutes. This does not happen often, but there are unprecedented demands on the system right now.
Thank you both for your answers, I managed to fix it by dragging the race and class from the compendium into the completed character sheet. Again, thank you. :D
