Player unable to access GM made character

This is a question involving the 5E charactermancer My friends screen would not show all of the player options in the charactermancer sheet (example, it only showed Acolyte as a background choice). So we made it on my computer (I'm the GM). I enabled the character so my friend can edit and control it. It keeps giving an error message that the character doesn't exist on her roll20.  I can access it on my computer on roll20, but she cannot on hers. I even made her GM also and it still gives an error. I looked through the help wiki and menus, but maybe I'm missing something.  Thanks in advance!
I may be mistaken but you need to share your compendium, so your players can access the option not inclkuded in the free stuff. Just a guess, though.

Make sure you also click the button that makes it visible in her journal. As for the Acolyte issue, you are probably aware, but for anyone following this thread, Without the purchase of a compendium such as the Players Handbook, character creation choices are limited to what is freely available from WotC from their SRD.
