Can someone help me understand Exalted???

I'm trying to expand from just dnd. first im trying CoC, which was pretty easy to understand, so rn im trying to get in a CoC group, but I wanna step my toes in other places too, and remembered hearing about Exalted, and how fun it can be. I found a game on roll20 for exalted that lets new players join. I just need to make a character that's dragon-blooded? I go online to look up how to do this, and download a character sheet...I don't understand a lick of it. NOTHING MAKES SENSE TO ME! That's where you come in! a helper to the young and ignorant such as I. I would really appreciate if someone could guide me somewhere to get a really easy tutorial, or just show/teach me how. Thanks in advance!

You don't need to download anything. When a new game is selected, you choose which character sheet is used in it (in this case, the Exalted sheet). Then inside the game you create individual character sheets to players. It's hard to give more advice without knowing how much/little you know about Roll20 in general.
wait, so I don't have to make a character before I join a group?
