I've searched the forums for a solution and only found similar issues, not the exact same issue. I'm not good with coming up with macros (or chat commands) on my own unfortunately. I have a player who has a cursed sword and we're trying to let the other players assume it's not really cursed and we're just messing with them whenever they get suspicious. This sword doesn't have the ability to speak, it communicates with emotion. The character is still new to this sword (and technically I haven't confirmed to the player that the sword is cursed either, but ... he knows.) Anyway, I want to be able to whisper him something like an emote of his own character. His character name is Azkas, so I want him to see something formatted like a description or an emote that tells him "Azkas has a sudden and inexplicable blood lust." but not have it look like it comes from me, the GM. I think it would add an extra layer of awesome if I can accomplish that without breaking the magic of the character having foreign emotions that by all appearances are his own emotions. I want my player to doubt his sanity a bit if possible as I refuse to admit I sent him anything in game... ya know? I've tried /w Azkas /emas Azkas message and it doesn't work. I've looked up other's solutions and the best I found was how to combine other chat commands not including the whisper command. What am I doing wrong? Any suggestions?
