Help needed with IPad app!

Hey Peeps, so i am trying to set up a campaign for friends that moved out of town. long story short. created game in Roll20 downloaded the iPad app, started said game. get stuck on black loading screen. i read about this issue in previous posts, some a year back. nothing did it for me. i am on the newest iPad Air and was setting up a D&D 5e campaign. Thanks in advance. :)

Its quite limited with setting up a campaign with an ipad there's some options you wont get with the right click or drawing stuff the only way I got on roll20 on my ipad is go on the site normally with Google Chrome for some reason on Safari it won't let you scroll across the map.

Safari is not a supported browser for Roll20 - only Firefox and Chrome. If you are running the IPad app, there are a number of problems with it, and the Roll20 team is working on a new version to be released. There is no announced ETA yet. I have the impression that it will be in the next 6 months or so, but that's only a guesstimate on my part. Current events have changed things considerably for everyone.

The iPad app is designed for use in face to face games. It lets you use Roll20 character sheets and dice rolling while using a real table. So it isn’t what you want for VTT game. You should use the browser version. You can use a tablet browser if the creator of the game is a Pro subscriber. Otherwise you must use a laptop or desktop browser.  I’ve always used a laptop or desktop browser because I can’t get stuff done on a tablet browser.
