Paladin Known Spells issue

The charactermancer tool requires the user to choose a list of known spells with a limited number per level. Some classes, such as paladins and clerics, automatically know all spells on the class spell list, in the PHB, but this feature is unsupported by the tool.

The charactermancer is actually keeping you from making a performance error. Loading every spell possible on your sheet would cause unbearable lag. Instead, think of it as the charactermancer is giving you a starting point, helping you choose the spells you want immediately upon level up. You are free to add and delete spells at will afterward. Just delete them from your sheet and add them from the compendium.
