keithcurtis has done a superb introduction video for Roll20 ... I'd start there and then recommend just setting up a test game and playing with the VTT to get the feel for it. The tutorial is also an option but is, at this time, very out of date and crazy broken.

There are some youtube videos you can find with a quick search.  Even some of the old ones can give you a good start on what the system can do.  Another good thing to do is read the wiki on the character sheet that you choose.
