ERROR: Unable to find character to edit

Hello! For the starters I'm sorry if this is not the right place to ask for help (or I there exist already a thread on this subject, could not find one though).  I'm having an annoying problem right now: When I create a new character to an existing game and try to edit that character I get the error "unable to find character to edit." I found an old thread about the same case and followed instructions that were mentioned there. 1. I emptied my Chrome cache, no help. 2. I updated Chrome, no help. 3. I tried if the error occurs when using Firefox -> it helped. Just wondering is there something else that I could do considering Chrome because I don't like running Roll20 on Firefox because it feels much slower on that browser. I've used Roll20 for the past 2 years only on Chrome and this problem occurred today.  Thank you in advance and may the dice stay strong during the corona outbreak! - GM from Finland
Please carefully work through to the first three steps of our guide to Solving Technical Issues: Step 1: Make sure to use the right browser Please check if these issues persist when using both Chrome and Firefox. Step 2: Ensure that there are no extensions/addons interfering with Roll20 Please disable all add-ons/extensions. Step 3: Clear your cache If none of the above succeeds, please have your player thoroughly work through Step 4. (Don't forget the complete Console Log!) If you need additional information on how to capture a console log we have additional information here:  Submitting a Console Log in Firefox  Submitting a Console Log in Chrome Thank you!
