I may have as many as 3 slots for players in my Saturday morning 10am eastern 5th Edition D&amp;D game, if I do not hear from 3 players by 3am eastern time tonight. So if anyone here wants to play in that game as well, please let me know as soon as possible. Buddy and Roxxifarius are also in the 5E game. On another note, IF I get picked as one of the playtesting groups for a new 2e/5e Ravenloft module, the current game will be put on hold for 6 weeks, to playtest the Ravenloft module, in place of Lost Mines of Phandelver / Dragon of Icespire Peak.

Ok, regarding the "Ravenloft" themed, "Prey of the Black Wolf", combo 2e/5e playtest, I got picked to be one of the DM's so I should be getting a play-test pack soon. If I can get the opening segment stuff set up by this Sunday, we will start the playing then, if not we start it on the 19th and I believe 6 weeks of sessions was the number mentioned for the playtesting. After that then, of course, it's back to regularly scheduled programing.
Ok, I have the, "Ravenloft: Prey of the Black Wolf" play test pack now! I'm still not crazy about the artwork, but it's basically a step up from "Deep Carbon Observatory" that is doing well on Kickstarter now, with the doodle artwork.
Ok, for the, "Ravenloft: Prey of the Black Wolf" playtest, do you want to do it in 1e/2e or 5e? Basically, I think leaving it at 1e/2e for this group, while the other group plays it in 5e, is good so that they have two different takes to go on.

I agree the 1e/2e group and the 5e group do it in their ruleset keep them separated

In order to improve response time in the game, you have 30 seconds to make your move or give some sort of input during a discussion or your character incurs a penalty of -2 on any sort of roll your character has to make.&nbsp; I may even go farther in that if a 1-4 on a D6 is rolled the character does something stupid during that move, and a -4 on die rolls,especially if the lack of responding carries over into the next turn or discussion.

Regarding, the 1e/2e "Ravenloft: Prey of the Black Wolf" Play testing: I don't think we will start it this coming Sunday as, I need the creator to send out a text unlocked PDF, he's busy at work and will get to it and needs to find out how to do it. This happened with the playtest for Dark Naga Adventure's "The Buried Ziggurat" and Kevin Watson, fixed the PDF right away! Also, I found out I need to buy the new version of Dungeonographer and Cityographer that now integrates with the Worldographer program as when I had to reset my system due to audio and mouse issues, I deleted all my programs off for a full reset. I would then use the town of Kellee map as a trace for the indoor building encounters in the town. Which will be a bit difficult as it's drawn in doodle fashion and still looks off in spite of some of the maps having grids to line up to and a scale that shows 75 ft is like 2 and 1/4 squares. I will also be getting "Curse of Strahd" to get the Tarroka (Tarot) card deck, so I don't have to pay for it twice.

Ok, with the weekly story chapter and gaming summaries for both games I run out of the way, I can concentrate on getting the "Ravenloft: Prey of the Black Wolf" Playtest ready for this weekend. I mainly need to fill in npc / monster sheets and find tokens to use. If i make maps for the inside of buildings you visit in Kellee, I'll use a free dungeon mapper from the net, since i want to use my cash to get something else i see on sale for this month. So i'll get the Dungeonographer/Cityographer add-ons to Worldographer next month. I would make a copy of the 5e game and change up the npc/monster stats and macros to 1e/2e info.

For those whom wonder where the "RollAbilityStats" button appears, look at this Screen Cap. It is in the Lower Left side of the screen under the names of the players. Ok, looks like there is a problem with the sheets accessing the dice macro buttons, as i get an error when trying to roll weapons 'To Hit' rolls. This could be because the game copied over sheets from the 5E game and retained the attribute calls. Which means i'll probably need to redo every monster and NPC sheet from scratch! Sigh. But really, if the macro isn't calling a 5e attribute, i don't see how it would mess it up.
Also, I again can not see what is typed or rolled in the chat box but it shows in the chat archive, except that the weapons rolls do not show in either place due to the syntax error message. Looks like i may have to redo this yet again but not copy over the character/monster sheets and see if that helps. Also need to work on the upcoming stuff for the 5E game, making sure all the monsters are there and all rolls are working. And i need to type up summaries for both games.
Whew! Got it working again, this time with a simple clearing out of the chat archive!
Ok, Look like I have the monster/npc stuff for the play test all working, just need to copy over saving throw and ability roll macros. Then scan over descriptions to places the PC's will likely be next session and see if any editing needs done, as they often mention more than the characters see or they are scattered about in different places. If I have the time, I can make the Kellee village floor maps go beyond a simple floor texture with NPC's in the room. I now need to go back to the 5E play test and finish any NPC/monster sheet work and area description editing there. Please, get your Play Test character sheets made, If Possible prior to the game Sunday. This also, so I can get dice roll macros made for them, if i have the time to do so. Roxxifarious and Buddy need to make new sheets as well as the original ones where lost. Dont feel bad I dont see it either except in the screen shot I have been rolling my abilities typing in /r 4d6d1 it will not count the lowest roll that way do it 6x hope you roll good

You can roll a stat for Comeliness as well, i'll put it in the attributes tab. I though you had another character already made Chris? Is it in the Unused New Character sheets folder??? I'll put a blank one in there for use.
Ok, the TokenDeath button should not even be seen by players as i have it set for the DM only!
I dont see it and I guess Chris does not see it either, we cant use it had the same problem in other Roll20 games
Hmm, I could try to add each player individually to whom can see it and see if that even works!
ok, changed it so that it names each player that can see it instead of using the 'All players' selection.&nbsp; I left that field blank, for the TokenDeath button and it still shows for players as well!

Ok, since it appears no one will have their Ravenloft Play Test Characters rolled up and made prior to gaming time. So that means tomorrow's session will be doing just that for the first half hour at least. Back in the day, we played it that the rolls are placed into the stats in the order your make the rolls. Here on roll20, I let you re-arrange them and toss-out the minimum stat rolls for certain class's abilities. Oh, ok Estrel Tol is your new one for the Forbidden City. Characters made for the Ravenloft Play Test should be at 1st level.
So, do we "downgrade" Estrel to level 1, or make a new character?
Chris it's up to you, you can of course use Estrel's info for the play test! Just drop him to level one is all!

Ok, in order to encourage more and better player participation in the game here are the following things that will be done: * You have 20 seconds (I found 30 seconds to be too long), to respond when it is your turn in combat or your turn to give input on some sort of party or character decisions and or&nbsp; actions. In the case of Party/Character decisions and or actions, you would still incur the penalties mentioned below for the first roll for your player and his/her opponent, if no sort of input is given. If you don't know what to say or add, simply say so during the discussion, then you won't incur the penalty. &nbsp; Also, you will need to at least mention you need more time to think it through or if you need to be away from the keyboard to notify the gamers that you will BrB or AFK for a few. * If there is no response from the player and the DM or another player needs to make the rolls, there will be a -2 penalty on To Hits and -2 penalty on Saving Throws for that character, while the opponent gets +2 To Hit and +2 to Saving Throws. * Players whom are absent from the game will not incur the penalties for their character(s), especially if they notified the group in the attendance thread that they can't make the game session. * We will rotate the party Leader / Caller each week going in alphabetical order.

I am going to open up the game to 3 new players so we can get the attendance boosted up. Nox, had to leave the game due to a job promotion to cyber security for a school and he wants to buckle down and learn the stuff.
