The PC’s find themselves running from the old manor. Once they reach the bottom, they find Eucris once again, asking where the Hobbit is. Eventually Fosco catches up and Eucris asks him again if he knows the color of the sky. Fosco guesses purple, and Eucris thinks he’s joking. As they are talking, Eucris passes his hand over his shoulder and asks what used to be there. Fosco mentions his cat and Eucris tells him about Yoral, an animal trainer in the city. The PC’s regroup and decide to go the long way around in order to cover their tracks. Fosco apologizes to the party for his reckless and cowardess behavior. They all seem to be okay for now. Once they get back to the Albatross, Fosco shows them the doll he found and tells them that once they find the right buyer they will all split the profit. The next day, they seem to go out as business as usual. Radril goes to work at the pawn shop. Radril asks her boss if she could buy a necklace that she thinks looks interesting for a very reduced price. Radril asks Milly what she knows about the house on top of the hill. Milly tells her that the house had some strange things happen. People who go into the house, never come back. She talks to Milly about what happened the night previous, while Milly is so fascinated like a little school girl. Radril mentions the Orcs and Milly explains that is really bad because there were rarely ever Orcs in Strayhold. Milly mentions that the house used to belong to the Brother of the Mage. During their day, the Stranger comes and takes Milly aside. She tells Radril that he wanted her to look into someone named Skari? After work, Radril decides to go out to eat with Milly at a local restaurant. While talking, Radril asks Milly her father’s name, Jort, and what he looks like, and if she knows anything about “the color of the sky”. Milly just says blue very confused. Once Radril gets back to the Albatross, she strikes up a conversation with Massa about the city and the house. Massa talks to her very suspiciously about the house, the mage, and his brother. She tells Radril that the house is haunted and very dangerous. The mage’s name is Leerdinoff, and his brother’s name is Doroff. They had a falling out a while ago, but no one knows why. Massa says that things started to turn for the worst when the Red Pools arrived. More criminals and gangs started to take way al throughout the city. Massa also has no idea what “the color of the sky” means. Fosco spends his day walking around town hiring someone to make his trip arrows. After he does, they will now be ready in two days. He spends the rest of his day searching for an alchemist and purchases some alchemical items like healing potions. Can’t imagine what they would need that for… As he is searching he goes back to the ally where he was ambushed to find a note telling him to meet at Driv’s, a dive tavern around the corner, in two days. Once Fosco gets back to the Albetross, he meets Radril who then shows him her necklace that she bought. Fosco tells her that it is magical and they decide to try it out. They go out back and figure out how to activate it. They realize that the necklace casts Haste on the user. That will come in handy. They meet up with Skari and fill him in on what happened. The next day, everyone goes out for their day. Fosco goes to find Yoral with his cat. As he gets there, from the outside he notices something odd with the movement inside. Fosco is readying himself for something sinister. He enters and is welcomed by a loud voice saying “DON’T MOVE”…
