Continue IRL campaign on Roll20?

Hello friends, Some friends and myself (DM) had an IRL campaign running for a few weeks using the Lost Mines of Phandelver scenario. For obvious reasons we cannot continue the IRL campaign anymore so we were looking at using Roll20 instead - my question is, before I buy the module for the scenario, is it possible to configure a new game so we pick up more or less where we left off, using the characters sheet as they stand in our IRL campaign? You should be able to. The modules are just the necessary assets, pre-configured (e.g. if you go Plus or Pro, dynamic lighting is pre-configured for you). You can use them however you wish. Just bring in the existing characters and pick wherever you left off.
