FX that simulates an implosion rather than explosion

I've been playing around with the FX capabilities and it seems that all I can do is an explosion, or an effect that originates from a particular point. I would like to see the capability added to do implosions. Some examples (from D&D): you open a trap door and a telekinetic force pulls you in; or a visual for the Warlock's Grasp of Hadar invocation where a creature hit with Eldritch Blast is pulled toward the caster. I know it's possible to do this effect because I've seen it in various places. I just don't know how hard it is to do. But, if you look at the example "Whirlpool Flare 2" at the site: http://factor43.com/projects/tfx/demo/# You can get an idea of the kind of thing I mean. Thank you.

This would be great! I'd love to see another pass on the FX system now that we have the new OpenGL Hardware Acceleration stuff going in with the Updated Dynamic Lighting.
