animated backgrounds questions

Hi, I want to use the animated background feature of rolld20 with the amazing short videos I found online like this one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZYsFNhVeJYk I followed the following guide: https://wiki.5e.tools/index.php/Feature:_Animated_Background and after I copy/paste the URL of the animated gif, it works. If I could find a google drive with backgrounds, it could be this simple but since I found none, I searched on youtube and found a lot of short videos perfect for this. Now, if I copy a youtube address, it doesn't work. I then found the following link: https://www.patreon.com/posts/how-to-use-our-25737365 I tried it but when I copy/paste the youtube address into vlc, I click on play and the screen inside vlc become back and the video isn't there. After that, if I do Tools-) codec information, nothing happen. I then tried to download the youtube video on my computer to do the same step but the codec information doesn't give an address as the instructions give. Another thing that I tried is just to load the short mp4 animation to the background but it didn't work (the gif is 250 mo so it probably excess rolld20 limit) I then tried something else: I downloaded the youtube videos (mp4), converted it to gif, uploaded it to my google drive, got the shared link then copies in it in the Animated Background Setup windows in the Media Url box. It tells me it's not a direct video stream. After that I tried to install the VTT enhancement suite on firefox only (I usually use chrome) but I see no difference. I wonder if now the enhancement is directly in rolld20 since when I run my game in chrome, in the chat it says: VTT Enhancement Suite The enhancement suite (aka R20ES) has been loaded! I also tried to install the vtt enhancement suite that I found for google chrome but it just seems to show strange coding in the chat. I tried everything I could think of before posting. There's probably something that I miss. Could someone help me, please? Thanks for the information and have a nice day.
I was trying the same. I think you have to use VTT in Firefox now rather than Chrome. I had partial success with VLC but it looks like the Youtube ULR changes? I read someone else had this issue too. Has anyone got this working reliably?

We use discord to chat while gaming and with animated backgrounds, there was a bit of lag so I removed them. We had a player in France and we are from Canada, I don't know if it has an impact. Only succeeded with 1 of the background so I cannot give advice but I chatted with someone on reddit that his friend was used to run animated background from youtube and he told me that it doesn't work anymore. He said to now use vimeo and he said it works fine.
