Charactermancer missing options

Hi all,  New DM here.  Myself and several of my players have run into an issue recently.  It seems that the charactermancer is only displaying a fraction of the options for the 5e character sheet.  For example, their is no option for rolling stats, no option for human variant race, and no option for any background other than acolyte.  I'm pretty sure more are missing but those are just the one's I noticed right away.  Does anyone have a clue what might be going on? Hi, Leah. If you haven't purchased the  Players Handbook in the marketplace , you're seeing the options from the D&D 5e SRD, which has limited options available, including for generating ability scores. The charactermancer does have options for "custom" races, classes, subclasses, and backgrounds, so you can enter these manually.

Ok, thank you.  Is that why the option to roll for stats isn't there as well?

Yep! We were surprised, too, but it turns out, they aren't in the SRD. 

Is this per-player, or if the DM has it, does it work for all? I am a player in the game that has the PHB, but my DM doesn't. I was the only one with roll for stats available.

Compendium purchases made by the creator of a game can be shared within that game if they wish. Your personal compendium purchases are available for your own use, regardless.

This question seems to crop up several times a week.  Would it be a good idea to put a warning at the top of the Charactermancer?  Something along the lines of "Only SRD player options are available.  Please purchase the Player's Handbook on the Roll20 marketplace to unlock all content".

It still doesn't work right even after you buy the players manual and xanathars.  As a wizard you are able to learn new spells outside of character advancement but the stupid sheet won't let you. Unless of course I would like to type the whole effing thing myself.

You can drag and drop spells from the Compendium. Charactermancer will only give you spells you are guaranteed by level. What do you need to type?
